Day 51 of the IM John Chow internet marketing program is about the importance for you to set-up a You Tube channel for your blog. Of the Top 100 Search Results Listings, 70% of them are videos. In fact, it’s believed that people who watch a video of a product are up to 85% more likely to buy the product, than those without a video.
To set-up your You Tube channel, you must have a Google account, since Google owns You Tube. The easiest way to do this, is to set-up a Gmail account, if you don’t already have one. After that, go to You Tube and set-up your You Tube channel, for your website videos only. You shouldn’t intermingle any personal videos with your website videos, unless you want your personal videos to be seen by visitors to your website.
Follow the directions to set-up your You Tube channel, including filling in all the information for your profile. Customize your channel any way you like, but you should include a picture. Then the most important part of this set-up is to integrate your You Tube channel to your website. Include a website link under the videos that corresponds to that page on your website. Once you set-up your You Tube channel, you will receive much more traffic to your website.
